Description and Application

Teadit^® Style 2048 is diagonally braided from graphited Aramid staple fibre, impregnated with an inert lubricant. It is a very strong and durable packing, the added graphite improves the heat dissipating properties compared to conventional Aramid packings.

It can be used for dynamic and static applications like rotary and plunger pumps, valves, stirrers and mixers etc., by many different industries. It is suitable for water, sewage, mild acids and caustics, chemicals, abrasive media like slurries and brine.

It is not suitable for concentrated acids and lyes, alkali metals, oxygen.

It is an economical multi purpose packing.
